Welcome to a 'Piece of Paradise' and the

Sun Village Community Association (SVCA)

Sun Village, a gated, age 55+, community, is located in the city of Surprise, Arizona, which is in the Phoenix North-West Valley. In our Village, there are 1,382 homes and condominiums (470 condominiums and 912 single family homes). The Sun Village Board of Directors and Residents welcome you to our Planned Development for Active Seniors offering a lifestyle and a landscape unique in our area. The Sun Village Community is a 'Piece of Paradise' where you can take advantage of the many amenities including golf, tennis, pickle ball, swimming, horse-shoes, various clubs, events, shows, dances, classes, and the list goes on.  One of the greatest amenities is our Community Recreation Center which houses most of these events as well as offering a billiards room, a beautiful fitness and swimming center, a computer area, sewing room, a book and DVD library, woodshop, card room and several meeting areas.

Although Sun Village is a private, gated community, several areas are open to the public, including The Links Neighborhood Grill, The Village Salon, The Gift Gallery and the Sun Village Community Church.  Their biggest public attraction is a gorgeous, Executive 18-hole, par 3 golf course and Pro Shop which is open year round. The golf course is a Surprise Business Hall of Fame “Best of Surprise” winner.

Outside our walls, and a short stroll away, you will find the spring training home of the Texas Rangers and the Kansas City Royals. Across the street from Surprises' baseball complex, is a 25 court tennis complex that is home to national and international tennis tournaments. A Regional Library, a park, and a fishing lake are also part of this fantastic recreational area. This is all topped by a special “Field of Dreams” baseball stadium designed to give handicapped children and adults a place to “play ball.”
